Donate to Rotary International Foundation’s Ukraine Disaster Response Fund

By on April 1, 2022

Rotary and Rotaract clubs bordering Ukraine have taken swift action to help over four million Ukrainian refugees since Russia invaded Ukraine five weeks ago.

Clubs in neighboring Poland, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, are coordinating efforts throughout the region to get the supplies needed by relief organizations and medial teams to care for over four million–mostly women and children—who have fled Ukraine. Ukraine had 62 Rotary clubs, six satellite clubs and 24 Rotaract clubs.

The International Rotary Foundation has created a funding channel that Rotarians can use to help, the Disaster Response Fund.

Two ways to donate:

  • Write a check to Rotary International Foundation, write Disaster Response Fund in the memo line and mail it to our Rotary Club’s office (3202 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208) or bring it to a Tuesday program and give to Jamie Hanan or Jenni Agramonte.
  • Donate online https://my.rotary.org/en/disaster-response-fund

Contributions made before April 30 will be expedited into grants for water, food, shelter, medicine and clothing to agencies assisting refugees across Europe.

Take action and help provide compassionate aid for families like ours. Join my husband Bob and me by donating today.
