  • February 28: Coffee and Conversation with Janet Holcomb, First Lady of Indiana

    The Rotary Club of Indianapolis Coffee and Conversation series gives you a chance to hear from a fascinating person in a cool location. February’s Coffee and Conversation is being hosted by First Lady of Indiana Janet Holcomb in the Governor’s Mansion on February 28 at 8 a.m.! Join us as we spend an hour chatting with the First Lady and learning more about her love of horses, fine arts, and much more. We’ve been told that First Dog Henry might even make an appearance.

    CIPF Trauma Medical Kit Assembly, February 4, 2019

    The Central Indiana Police Foundation (CIPF) was awarded one of four Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Community Grants late in 2018. The money was designated to purchase items to make Trauma Medical Kits. These kits will be donated to Police Officers in the CIPF territory. Along with the kit, each officer will be trained on how to properly use the items in the kits to attend to those who have been injured and/or suffer gun shot wounds.

    Monday, February 4th from 4:30-5:30, Rotarians and board members will come together to assemble the kits. The EMT Trainer will share the importance of these kits and share a story about a life that was saved because and officer had the kit.

    Join us for our series, Coffee and Conversation, where President John Mainella moderates Q&A and conversation with fascinating leaders in Indianapolis. Steve Campbell, Vice President of Communications for the Indianapolis Colts will be the guest of honor on December 13 at 8 a.m. during this intimate morning meeting designed for all Rotarians and guests to learn more about People of Action and topics of interest in our community. John and Steve will talk about his role with the Colts and the challenges and opportunities of working with and for an NFL team.

    This Coffee and Conversation will be located in the Colts Locker Room at Lucas Oil Stadium.

    ROTARY 5:31 CLUB/5th Annual Chili Cook-off: Wednesday, October 3rd at the Triton Tap Room, 915 Broad Ripple Avenue. Face-Off against other members of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis! Bring your best batch of chili and see how it stands-up to the chili made by other Indy Rotary Club members. Here are the rules! If you are not participating in the contest, PLEASE STILL COME AND BRING FRIENDS! So, like all 5:31 get-togethers, it will be hot, spicy and fun!

    Metazoa Brewing & The Rotary Club of Indianapolis are partnering with F.I.D.O. for a 3 week pet food drive culminating in a give-back event on 9/6/2017.
    10% of all pint & growlers sales during this time will go directly to F.I.D.O. to help families feed and protect their pets, despite financial hardship.
