The Rotary Club of Indianapolis welcomes Dr. Anita Morgan, Author &
Senior Lecturer, Indiana University on Tuesday, October 27
Join us on Tuesday to hear from the author of the book We Must Be Fearless: The Woman Suffrage Movement in Indiana. Dr. Anita Morgan is a senior lecturer in the Department of History at IUPUI. She has taught at Purdue University, IUPUI, IUPUC and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. Her past research includes a study of the women who worked at the Indiana State Arsenal during the Civil War. Dr. Morgan is one of the co-founders of the Hoosier Women at Work conference and is a past president of the Indiana Association of Historians. She earned her B.S., M.S., MA., and her Ph.D in U.S. History from Purdue University.
All are welcome at Rotary programs. If attending in-person at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center reservations and prepayment are required. Due to current guidelines only 50 seats are available.
