    March 17: Offsite at Pack Away Hunger

    On Tuesday, March 17, we will head offsite for a hands-on service project at Pack Away Hunger. Organized by the Community Service Committee, this program will give us the opportunity to pack nutritious meals for those in need. The meals packed during our session will be sent to support individuals and families in Cuba.

    Guests are welcome to join us for this service opportunity.

    Registration is required to participate. Please register on Square by Friday, March 13 to reserve your boxed lunch. If you plan to attend but do not need a lunch, select “Attending – No Boxed Lunch” when completing your registration.

    Members participating in the Rotary Value Club should email the Rotary office with their attendance plans.

    March 10: Women’s History Month

    Join us Tuesday for a special program in celebration of Women’s History Month. Kathy Cookerly, Marie Koenig, Natasha Krupp, and Costeena Weathersby will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Tiana Johnson.

    Through this conversation, we will highlight how women’s voices have paved the way for progress, opened doors for others, and continue to shape opportunities for the next generation. We hope the discussion resonates with women in the audience who may be navigating similar challenges, while also reinforcing the importance of partnership with men as allies in the workplace and beyond. Women’s History Month provides an opportunity to recognize and elevate the incredible female leaders in our network whose impact, legacy, and leadership are helping build a stronger and more inclusive future.

    In addition, we will be voting on the slate of the 2026-2028 Rotary Club of Indianapolis Board of Directors during the program.

    Indianapolis is preparing to host the NCAA Men’s Final Four and, even more impressively, will serve as the site for all men’s basketball championships in one city for the first time ever. From April 4 through 6, our city will welcome an unforgettable weekend of college hoops featuring the Division I, Division II, Division III, and NIT men’s basketball championships.

    Behind the scenes, preparations are already in full swing. From citywide fan experiences and volunteer coordination to community legacy projects and national media efforts, hosting an event of this magnitude takes extraordinary planning and collaboration. Dan will provide an inside look at what it takes to bring a championship weekend like this to life and share a preview of what fans and residents can expect.

    Join us Tuesday as we welcome Bret D. Marsh, DVM, Dean of the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and CEO of the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital.

    Dr. Marsh earned his bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from Purdue’s College of Agriculture and continued his education at Purdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine. His distinguished career reflects a deep commitment to animal health, public service, and professional leadership at both the state and national levels. He has served on special detail to the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and has held key leadership roles with the United States Animal Health Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association.

    Dr. Marsh will share insights on Purdue’s veterinary program and discuss the evolving veterinary profession.

  • January 20: Kimble Richardson

    January 20: Kimble Richardson

    Join us Tuesday as we welcome Kimble Richardson, Manager of Business Development and Referrals for Community Health Network – Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health and Community Fairbanks Recovery Center.

    Kimble brings 38 years of experience in healthcare and behavioral health. He earned his master’s degree with honors from Indiana University and has held key roles at Wishard Hospital (now Eskenazi Health), Ascension St. Vincent, and Community Health Network. He is licensed in Indiana as a mental health counselor, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, and clinical addiction counselor, and was appointed by the governor to the Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.

    A recognized leader in his field, Kimble is a former president of the Indiana Mental Health Counselors Association and the recipient of numerous state and national awards for counseling, education, and crisis response. He has also trained and supported first responders and communities during major critical incidents across Indiana.

    As part of President Charlie’s Health Series, Kimble will speak about evaluating our own mental health, an important and timely topic for all of us.

    January 13: Cliff Chapman

    Join us Tuesday to hear from Cliff Chapman, President and CEO of the Central Indiana Land Trust, Inc. (CILTI).

    Cliff has worked in land conservation since 1997 and brings decades of experience protecting and restoring natural areas. He earned a BA in Geography from Indiana University and began his career as an ecologist with The Nature Conservancy in Olympia, Washington, and later with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Nature Preserves, where he planned, protected, restored, and managed natural landscapes.

    Since joining CILTI, Cliff has led the creation of a strategic conservation plan for Central Indiana that has guided the protection of more than $35 million in land since 2009. His leadership extends beyond CILTI. He has founded a land trust, served on several nonprofit boards, and is a past president of both the Natural Areas Association and the Indiana Land Protection Alliance. He currently serves on the boards of the Natural Areas Association and the Indiana Conservation Fund.

    Cliff will highlight the natural wonders that surround us in Central Indiana and share how CILTI is working to protect them. Through its conservation efforts, the Central Indiana Land Trust preserves exceptional natural areas, safeguarding plants and animals so Hoosiers can experience and enjoy the state’s rich natural heritage.
