October 13: Derrick Stewart

The Rotary Club of Indianapolis welcomes Derrick Stewart, President & CEO, YMCA of Greater Indianapolis on Tuesday, October 13

Join us on Tuesday to hear from Derrick Stewart the President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, a position he has held since February of 2019. Prior to his current role, he served as the CEO of the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana for 10 years. As a leader, he believes in integrity, transparency, and community engagement and fosters a mission-driven culture that creates ownership and drives innovation. Under his leadership, the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana experienced significant growth in core programs and philanthropic support, launched several new initiatives, expanded and improved facilities, and positioned itself as an influential voice in the non-profit community.

Derrick is active in leadership throughout the community and within the YMCA movement. He is served as Chair of the 2019 YMCA General Assembly Planning Task Force and is a member of the YMCA Employee Benefits Management Committee. He is a past member of the YMCA of the USA National Board of Directors and past Chair of the YMCA of the USA Small & Mid-Size YMCA Cabinet. In 2015, he was elected to the Corporate Board of Directors of Old National Bancorp, the largest bank holding company headquartered in the State of Indiana, where he serves as Chair of the Talent Development and Compensation Committee, and is a member of the Finance and Corporate Development Committee, and the Community and Social Responsibility Committee.

All are welcome at Rotary programs. If attending in-person at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center reservations and prepayment are required. Due to current guidelines only 50 seats are available.
