June 4: Matt Mindrum

By on May 30, 2024
Join us Tuesday to hear from Matt Mindrum the President and CEO of the Indy Chamber. Matt will speak about the direction of the chamber, focusing on the vision for telling the story of Indianapolis (2024 and beyond), the health of the business community, and economic development. Matt joined the Indy Chamber as President and CEO after more than 15 years of Central Indiana business leadership across the healthcare and life sciences, sports and entertainment, and higher education sectors.

Matt began his post-MBA career at Eli Lilly and Company, where he worked in several sales and marketing leadership roles, including the launch of the U.S. Alzheimer’s business. He then spent eight years serving in Chief Marketing & Communications Officer positions at Butler University and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, overseeing brand building and demand generation efforts for the Midwest’s top-ranked residential undergraduate university and for the Indianapolis 500 — the world’s largest sporting event. Most recently, Matt helped to launch a new healthcare delivery business, serving as VP for Growth and Strategy for a startup unit within DaVita Kidney Care.

Matt has a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He serves on several community boards and lives in Westfield with his wife, MaryAnn, an Assistant United States Attorney, and their three children.
