July 26: Max Siegel
Since becoming the fourth CEO of USA Track & Field on May 1, 2012, nationally renowned sports and entertainment executive Max Siegel has led USATF to financial growth, programmatic evolution and inclusive representation that are unprecedented in the Olympic family.
During his tenure at USATF, Siegel has secured 19 new partners, generated more than $500 million in revenue, expanded the USATF annual budget to a record $40 million, successfully bid for the U.S. to host the World Athletics Outdoor Championships for the first time and secured a historic, long-term contract with Nike.
In addition to being the CEO of USA Track & Field, Siegel owns Rev Racing, the NASCAR- supported team charged with developing female and minority drivers, and pit crew members. Over the last 20 years Siegel has made a tremendous impact in this sport, providing opportunities to over 125 diverse and female drivers, over 100 diverse and female pit crew members, 20 plus interns and countless other disadvantaged youths, vendors, scholarship recipients, and young professionals, some of which now hold positions at the highest level of the sport.
