December 8: Inez Evans
The Rotary Club of Indianapolis welcomes Inez Evans, President & CEO, IndyGo on Tuesday, December 8
Join us on Tuesday via Zoom to hear from Inez Evans the President and CEO of IndyGo. Evans has been with IndyGo since the summer of 2019. She has a rich history in the transportation industry, beginning her transit career as a Customer Service Call Center Representative in the early 90s and holding positions of increasing scope and responsibility at several transit agencies. Evans has led successful transportation initiatives across the country, including the installation of bus rapid transit service (BRT) and master planning for 100% fleet electrification.
Evans is a board member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and serves on APTA’s Leadership Committee. Evans is also on the board of the Arts Council of Indianapolis and she is the chair of the Indianapolis chapter of Circle of Red through the American Heart Association. In her free time, she enjoys singing and gardening. Evans will provide us with an update on the Red Line and what’s next for public transportation in Indy.
