November 8 : Ron Stiver, President, System Clinical Services, IU Health
As President of System Clinical Services, Ron leads a business unit of nearly 3,000 team members focused on growing IU Health’s presence in ambulatory service lines. This includes ambulatory surgery centers, laboratory services, home care, hospice, dialysis, urgent care, sleep labs, physical therapy and telehealth.
Prior to this role, Ron served as Senior Vice President of Engagement and Strategy, responsible for overseeing strategic planning, marketing, communications, community relations, customer experience
and government affairs efforts for the system. In this role, Ron led the IU Health rebranding effort, and was the chief architect of the system’s five-year strategy.
Prior to IU Health, Ron served in the administration of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, first as Commissioner of the Department of Workforce Development, before being appointed as Commissioner of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). Ron also held leadership positions at Eli Lilly and Company in the finance, sales and marketing organizations.
During Ron’s tenure at the BMV, the agency drastically improved service levels and security measures and earned a national award for customer service. While at the Department of Workforce Development, he led the implementation of nationally recognized reforms and was asked by the U.S. Secretary of Labor to be part of the U.S. delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference on workforce and economic development held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Ron graduated with honors from DePauw University and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Ron and his wife Catherine have three sons, Liam (6), Braden (4) and Keegan (4). They are active parishioners at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic church. He serves on the board of directors for Special Olympics Indiana, Mother Theodore Catholic Academies, the Indy Partnership, and WGU Indiana.
