The Craine House is in its 36th year as a court-ordered work release program providing a secure and structured environment in which women from all counties throughout Indiana serve their sentences for non-violent offenses. It provides a positive, structured environment where preschool age children may live with their mothers, thus strengthening the mother-child bond and helping mothers learn improved parenting abilities and children to develop learning and social skills.
