    The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has been representing the state’s business community and their employees for more than 90 years. Learn a little about the Chamber and its 2016 advocacy efforts as part of its mission to cultivate a world-class environment which provides economic opportunity and prosperity for the people of Indiana and their enterprises.

    Kevin joined the Indiana Chamber’s lobbying team in November 1992, became the chief lobbyist and senior vice president of government affairs in 1997 and president and CEO in 2002.

    Previously, Kevin served nine years as a financial analyst for the Finance Committee of the Indiana Senate and three years as a management analyst for the Legislative Services Agency.

    Kevin is recognized as an expert in the areas of business taxation, property taxation, local government, state budget and school finance.

    Kevin received his bachelor’s of science degree from Indiana University. He holds a master’s degree in public administration, with majors in public financial administration and labor relations, as well as a master’s degree in business administration (with a major in corporate finance), both from Indiana University.

    Public health issues in the state of Indiana 
    Since being appointed the State Health Commissioner in October of 2014, Dr. Jerome Adams has provided expert leadership during unprecedented public health challenges such as the Ebola virus outbreak, and escalating drug use that have caused HIV and Hepatitis health emergencies in Indiana.  Along with state leaders, he has also led the tremendous Labor of Love campaign, an effort to reduce infant mortality in Indiana.  Join us as the very engaging Dr. Adams shares his perspectives on the health of Indiana and how it can impact both business and the community.

    Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Raises over $6,300.00 on December 15, 2015

    It was a festive and fun Rotary Club of Indianapolis program on December 15, 2015! Beautiful floral centerpieces were generously donated by Rotarian Tiffany Wesseler and her company Eagledale Florist. These centerpieces were sold and over $400 (ALL of the proceeds) were given to the Indianapolis Rotary Foundation.
    There was a reindeer (pictured: Ann Gioe), Officers of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis dressed-up in their favorite holiday clothing. There was an Elfie station set-up for attendees to get fun photos. Of course, the Riley Plea Tree was displayed with lots of toy donations from Rotarians. All, were given to Riley Children on December 15. The audience was entertained by the amazing Indianapolis Men’s Chorus. And, the Past Presidents “Stop the Singing” campaign helped the Indianapolis Rotary Foundation raise over $6,300 for the Foundation. This money will be used to help make Indianapolis a better community! Happy Holidays from the Rotary Club of Indianapolis!

He has expanded school choice, increased educational opportunity for Hoosier families by signing into law the first State funding for pre-K education in Indiana, and addressed Indiana’s skills gap by making career and technical education a priority in every Indiana high school. And, because roads mean jobs here in the Crossroads of America, under his leadership the state has invested more than $800 million in new money for roads and bridges in Indiana.
