  • December 5:31 Club, Union Jack, Speedway, IMS “Lights at the Brickyard”

    WHO: Rotarians, friends, guests, and anyone wanting to learn more about Rotary.

    WHAT: Union Jack, Speedway, is known for their starters, burgers, specialty pizzas, and of course their beer and wine!

    WHEN: Wednesday, December 4th, from 5:31 pm till 7:00 or 7:30 pm, or anytime in between.

    WHERE: 6225 W 25th St, Speedway, IN

    WHY: Fellowship, fun, and frivolity during our monthly social get-together.

    ETC: Good parking!

    NOTE: There will be a group of us heading over to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to drive around the track for “Lights at the Brickyard”. Only $25.00 per car load, so everyone is welcome to carpool over, then return to the Union Jack!

  • November 5:31 Club: Asian Harbor 8

    Join Rotary friends and guests at Asian Harbor 8  for fun, frivolity, conversation, beverages and food. Check out their website

    Their slogan is “come hungry, leave happy”. They will have a variety of beers available, but no wine or cocktails.

    • November 6th, from 5:31 pm till 7:30 pm, or whenever you can be there.
    • Asian Harbor 8 is located at 878 US-31, Greenwood, IN 46142 (across from Greenwood Park Mall on the West side of US-31)
    • No agenda, just the regular, monthly social get-together.
    • Free parking.
    • We will be joined by members from the Southport International Rotary Club along with members of the Chin Community
    • The Chin Community Center is the current recipient of the Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Legacy Grant.

    7:01 Club is your 5:31 Club for the early morning folks!

    The Social Committee invites you to a social gathering at 7:01 A.M. at Another Broken Egg 9435 North Meridian, Indianapolis, IN 46260 on Wednesday October 30, 2019!

    We will have a separate room for members and guest to meet, spend time with your Rotary friends and family for a fun morning out.

    We will order off the menu so let it be known that Another Broken Egg Cafe isn’t your typical breakfast, brunch and lunch place. The menu is second-to-none, loaded with fresh ingredients and creative recipes across a wide variety of breakfast classics. Each location is designed to feel like a
    casual getaway, served up with a generous side of family, friends and friendly service.

    We will have a room saved for Rotarians. Start the socializing early by arriving at 7.

  • August 31: Rotary Night at Symphony on the Prairie

    The Social Committee invites you to “ZOSO – THE ULTIMATE LED ZEPPLEIN EXPERIENCE” at Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Kroger Symphony on the Prairie on Saturday, August 31.

    For just $27 per person, it’s the perfect place to meet, spend time with your Rotary friends and family for a fun night out. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs, food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages) or purchase concessions on site.

    We will have an area saved for Rotarians.  Gates open at 6:00, show starts at 8:00.  Start the socializing early by arriving at 6.  (The ropes are lowered for others beginning at 7:30.)

    Get ready for an entirely new feel at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater – three large LED screens were added to enhance your concert view! Every location on the lawn is enhanced with 8-meter screens on either side of the stage, and a 6-meter screen farther back on the lawn near the playground area.

    July 29: Annual Rotary Vs Kiwanis Softball Game

    2018 Rotary Club of Indianapolis Softball Team

    Please join us as the Indianapolis Indians host the Annual Rotary vs Kiwanis Softball Game on Monday, July 29. Help us bring home the Babe!

    Game time is at 5:05 p.m., with an Indians game beginning at 7:05 p.m. Each ticket is $16.00. $2 of every ticket will go to our own Indianapolis Rotary Foundation. Register and pay here!

    Please purchase tickets no later than Sunday, July 21. Physical tickets will be distributed at the Rotary program on Tuesday, July 23. If you are unable to pick-up your tickets at the July 23 Rotary program, they will be provided at the Indianapolis Indians Will Call office on July 29.

    Details:
    Gates open at 5 p.m. (3rd base side)
    Softball game starts at 5:05 p.m. (approximately) to 6:05 p.m.
    Indianapolis Indians game starts at 7:05 p.m.

    May 5:31 Club: Go-Karts & Gathering

    Join Rotary friends for two 5:31 Club events on May 1. 2019:

    1. Race high-performance go-karts at Speedway Indoor Karting starting at 5:31 pm. (1067 Main Street, Speedway)
    2. 1911 Grill, right next door.

    If you want to race go-karts, great! You’ll receive training and then race against the clock on the indoor track.

    Regular “license” and participation fees apply.

    Race first (or skip that part) and then enjoy food and beverages at 1911 Grill.
