Join us Tuesday as we welcome Dave Neff, President & CEO of the 500 Festival and 500 Festival Foundation, a position he assumed on January 1, 2026. The 500 Festival is entering its 70th year as a community and civic organization that produces 30+ events that enrich the lives of Hoosiers, drive positive community impact and celebrate the spirit and legacy of the Indianapolis 500.
Dave’s career spans the sports, private and philanthropic sectors having held leadership roles at Pacers Sports & Entertainment, ExactTarget (Salesforce), EDGE Mentoring (Co-Founder & CEO), Prolific and Boilermaker Alliance (CEO).
He is passionate about the city of Indianapolis and giving back. Dave serves as Chair of the Board of Providence Cristo Rey High School and as a Member of the Board for the Ascension St. Vincent Foundation. He served on the 2026 NCAA Men’s Final Four Local Organizing Committee Leadership and the 2024 NBA All-Star Host Committee. Dave is also on the Advisory Board of Discovering Broadway. In his spare time, he hosts a podcast with Indianapolis Business Journal called “Talent Scout” spotlighting emerging leaders across the state of Indiana.
Dave is a 2024 recipient of IBJ Media’s prestigious Indiana 250 Award, a list of the state’s most influential and impactful leaders. He was named the 2022 John C. Lechleiter Award from Providence Cristo Rey High School; 2019 United Way ELEVATE Nonprofit Professional of the Year and 2016 Indianapolis Business Journal Forty Under 40 recognition.
