The 4-Way Test Program is an amazing opportunity which allows Rotarians to interact with students, giving them ideas/techniques and tactics for great decision making throughout their lives! And all it costs you is a couple hours of your time.
These activities are vital to the student’s growth and foundation, and we promise the experience is rewarding, eye-opening and fun!

October 8: Service Opportunity with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful
Plant. Care. Grow.
The goal of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is to increase tree cover in Indianapolis by planting 100,000 large trees – with trunks 1″ in diameter or larger at planting time -in strategic locations. Together we can grow our city’s tree canopy and make Indy a better place to live, work, and play. KIB’s marketing and promotions plan provides many opportunities for positive exposure to hundreds of neighborhoods, including thousands of residents, volunteers, and online followers.
Sometimes, keeping our city beautiful is as simple as planting a tree.
Trees enhance our lives in more ways than you might think. KIB coordinates a number of programs dedicated to planting, preserving, and educating people about trees. (Visit kibi.org for more information!)
On Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 am -12 pm, join the Rotary Environment and Beautification Committee at 3433 N. Central Ave. 46205 at Constitution Gardens GreenSpace, where we’ll be planting trees and perennials, spreading mulch, and perhaps raking gravel for walkways.
KIB will:
– Provide a professionally led day of service for Rotary, with all tools necessary
– Provide acknowledgment of the Indianapolis Rotary Foundation’s support via two posts on social media
– Spotlight the Rotary day of service in KIB’s Get the Dirt newsletter, including a photo

New Meeting Location Starting July 12
The Rotary Club of Indianapolis is thrilled to announce that beginning July 12, 2022 our club will meet for weekly Tuesday meetings at the recently renovated Murat Shrine, located at 510 New Jersey Street. This is a partnership that has so many wonderful benefits and we are excited for the future of the club.
We will continue to offer a hot lunch buffet option at our current pricing. We encourage everyone to signup for the Rotary Value Club (RVC), our prepay lunch program that helps you save on your weekly lunch and program costs. By joining RVC you can save up to $288! Our club will NOT be meeting for lunch on June 28. Instead, we hope you’ve purchased your tickets for the Celebration Dinner, which will be a delightful opportunity to gather and celebrate the Rotary year.
Tickets are still available for the dinner. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, June 24 by 11 a.m. on Square. The public is welcome and encouraged to join us for this spectacular night.

2022 Community Grants: Apply Online
The 2022 Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Community Grant guidelines have been posted. The Foundation intends to award two grants of $25,000 and two grants of $10,000.
The online grant application can be found here. Applications are due by June 20, 2022. Applicants must be 501(c)3 nonprofits who serve the charitable and educational needs of Central Indiana.

April 2: Pack Away Hunger Volunteer Opportunity
Join us on Saturday, April 2 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. as we pack meals for Pack Away Hunger. Kids 5 years and up can contribute on the assembly line. We are seeking 16 to 24 Rotarians and guests to assemble a full palette (7,128 servings) of food for those who are in need.

March 19: Sargent Road Nature Park Volunteer Opportunity
On the northeast side of Indianapolis, much of the land has been developed for residential and commercial use. One particular 25-acre parcel located at Sargent Road and 82nd Street represented an opportunity to protect a rare, undeveloped, high quality, urban natural area. Mud Creek Conservancy purchased this property in April 2021 after fundraising for two years.
Now MCC is organizing volunteers to improve this site, named the Sargent Road Nature Park. On Saturday, March 19th from 9 am until 1 pm, Rotarians will work to remove invasive species from the site. We’ll get dirty. We’ll sweat. We’ll grunt. And we’ll have loads of fun.
