Join Rotarian President Elect Sheila Carlson and her son, Brenden Paradies, as they talk about the journey they have taken during Brenden’s transition- he was born a female but has been living life now identifying as male.
Both Sheila and Brenden will share some of the challenges and pain this path has taken on them and the family unit, but will also share how the process has taught them what unconditional love and acceptance really mean.
The pair will bravely open up for questions from the audience as well, as they continue to share their insights and offer words of inspiration as they both learn what it means to be transgender.
