• Budget – Includes experienced members and existing leadership who prepare the annual
  budget. This committee is not currently seeking new members.
• Business Network –Creates business opportunities through networking among members for
  group meetings, one-to-one meetings, mentorship and professional development.
• By Laws – Meets on an as-needed basis and is not currently seeking new members.
• Rotary International Foundation – Encourages members to support the Rotary International Foundation and become Paul Harris Fellows.
• Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Investment – Members of this committee are appointed to effectively supervise, monitor and evaluate the management of the investment funds (portfolio) of the Rotary Foundation of Indianapolis.
• Programs – Helps brainstorm, propose and vote for speakers for weekly Club meetings. All members are encouraged to submit a program proposal via the Club’s website.

• Community Service – Members of this committee help improve the local community by initiating and enacting sustainable projects and partnerships with the community, neighborhoods, and like-minded organizations within the city.
• Communications – Responsible for promoting Club activities to membership and branding our Club in a positive light throughout the community.
• Education – Advances Rotary’s mission, vision and values by encouraging, supporting and celebrating educational achievements in Indianapolis. Service opportunities include implementing meaningful school-related activities; volunteering at Rotary-sponsored student events and supporting Interact (high school) and Rotaract (college) clubs.
• Rotary <40 – Creates social, networking and professional development opportunities to help engage and grow our Club’s <40 membership.
• World Community Service –Represents the Rotary Club of Indianapolis through international service projects. Members identify projects and partners to champion and participate in granting dollars to support projects around the World.

• Environment and Beautification – To help improve the environment and beautify the city of Indianapolis by initiating sustainable initiatives, as well as partnerships with the community, neighborhoods, and likeminded organizations within the city. E&B projects often involve planting trees or other plants and maintaining the “Rotary Greenway.”
• History – Preserves the history of our Club and assists in making history interesting for the future through special programming, various media and education.
• Hospitality – Welcomes members and guests at events and from the podium primarily at our weekly meetings, but could include other special events. This committee provides the opportunity to meet and engage with all members of our Club.
• Social Activities – Organizes adult and family-friendly activities enabling Rotarians to interact and socialize with one another in a relaxed, fun-filled atmosphere.
• Moment of Reflection – Includes diverse members of our Club who provide a Moment of Reflection at our weekly meetings. These non-denominational Moments could include a prayer, story, special insights or moment of silence.

Membership Recruitment Sub-Committees

• Corporate Membership – Focuses on recruiting corporate members and bringing them
  together to discuss current issues to help them further develop business connections.
  We look to our corporate members to share their successes and failures and act as a
  mentor to others in our Club.
• Mentorship – Engages new members to help them quickly acclimate to our Club. Seasoned Rotarians agree to be mentors and make a six-month commitment to building a relationship with the new member.
• Orientation – Provides an on-boarding session for new members including an overview of our Club’s weekly meetings, service projects, committee participation, new member recruitment and more. All new members must attend a Member Orientation to officially
  become a member.
