    Keynote Address by Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

  • August 10: Volunteer Opportunity

    The Community Service Committee is looking for volunteers to help with the 21st Annual Race Away From Domestic Violence. The Race will start and finish at the Michael A. Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis. Volunteers with assist at water stations and guide traffic on Saturday, August 10, from 7 am to 11 am. This event supports the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

    To sign up, please register and specify that you are part of the Rotary group under the group name section. Please sign-up by July 31. Once you have registered, kindly email Stacey Batista so we know how many volunteers to expect. Your participation will make a significant difference, and we thank you in advance for your support.

    The next Rotary Corporate Member Event will be hosted by Conner Insurance on Wednesday, July 24th, 7:30-9:00 am.
     
    Our speaker will be Karen Mangia who is with The Engineered Innovation Group. Karen will be discussing how Hoosier business leaders can utilize AI technology to improve their systems, efficiencies, and business as a whole.
     
    This event is for Rotary Club of Indianapolis Corporate Members or those interested in becoming a Corporate Member.

    Nominations Open for Rotary Outstanding Achievement Recognition Award (ROAR)

    The Rotary Club of Indianapolis is proud to announce that nominations for the Rotary Outstanding Achievement Recognition (ROAR) Award is open (formerly called Rotarian of the Year). Nominations for Rotarians in good standing who have demonstrated “Service Above Self” during his or her lifetime are being accepted. This award recognizes a life devoted to reflecting the Four Way Test, not just within the Club, but in their career and community life as well. This is considered a lifetime achievement award.

    Completed nominations should be submitted no later than May 15, 2024, to Jamie Hanan via email or by completing the online form below.

    Public announcement of the ROAR Award will occur on June 4, 2024, and the award will be presented at the 2024 Celebration Event scheduled for the evening of June 25, 2024.

    2024 Community Grants: Apply Online

    The 2024 Indianapolis Rotary Foundation Community Grant guidelines have been posted. The Foundation intends to award three grants of $25,000 and two grants of $10,000.

    The online grant application can be found here. Applications are due by June 19, 2024. Applicants must be 501(c)3 nonprofits who serve the charitable and educational needs of Central Indiana.

    April 27: Mass Ave. Flower Bed Refresh

    The Rotary Environment & Beautification Committee is looking for 6 volunteers to load and rake mulch from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday, April 27. Please consider volunteering to help us mulch and beautify our two Mass Ave plots (close to our luncheon meeting site – The Murat Temple).
