January 9: Dr. Morton Marcus

Join us Tuesday to hear from Dr. Morton Marcus. Dr. Marcus taught economics for the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is the former Director of the Indiana Business Research Center. He has taught urban, micro and macro economics and researches changes in the economy and population of the Midwest and the entire nation.

Dr. Marcus is a consultant to local economic development agencies and financial institutions on strategic planning. From 1979 to 2003 he was the Governor’s liaison to the U.S. Bureau of the Census. He has also been an advisor on matters of public policy to six Indiana governors. He is a published author and columnist in numerous newspapers.

Dr. Marcus received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Roosevelt University, a Master’s degree in Economics from Washington University, and a Doctorate in Economics from the University California, Los Angeles.

Lunch and networking start at 11:45 a.m. and the program runs 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
