April 20: Kevin Hardie
Join us on Tuesday at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center or on Zoom to hear from Kevin Hardie the Executive Director of the Friends of the White River (FOWR). A founding member of FOWR, Hardie has been active with the organization since its inception in 1985.
Hardie has a 30-plus-year history of involvement with ongoing efforts that raise awareness about the resource’s value.
His professional background is in the area of communications and community relations, with a career that includes work as a reporter and city editor for a daily newspaper, and as the public relations manager for WFYI, the local PBS station. A graduate of Purdue University, he and his wife were married on the banks of White River. They live near the river’s confluence with Williams Creek.
