The Rotary Club of Indianapolis welcomes John Trupus, Director, Underground Engineering & Construction Group, Citizens Energy Group

Join us on Tuesday to learn about the DigIndy Tunnel System. It’s a 28-mile long network of deep rock tunnels being built 250 feet beneath the city. The $2 billion program is Indy’s solution to reducing combined sewer overflows into area waterways by up to 97 percent.

John Trypus the Director of Underground Engineering and Construction at Citizens Energy will be our guest speaker. John has 25 years of experience in planning, design and construction of utility projects. In his role within Citizens, he oversees capital work associated with the water distribution and wastewater collection systems, as well as Citizen’s DigIndy Tunnel Program. Johns holds a bachelors of science in geology from the University of South Florida and an MBA from The John Hopkins University, Carey Business School.

All are welcome at Rotary programs. The lunch buffet opens at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center at 11:45 a.m. and the program runs 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. See you there!
