Join us for one of the largest, most attended Rotary lunches of the year. We’ll be meeting in the large upstairs ballroom at Ivy Tech for this special program and registration/lunch line will open 15 minutes early at 11:30 a.m. Early arrival is encouraged- see you there!

Born in Rushville, Indiana, Mayor Joe Hogsett has lived and worked in Indianapolis for almost four decades. Joe served six years as Indiana’s Secretary of State and four as United States Attorney, cracking down on gun crimes and street gangs, while breaking all-time records for the number of criminal convictions and the length of sentences.

On November 3, 2015, Joe was elected to serve as the 49th Mayor for the City of Indianapolis. In his first year in office, Mayor Hogsett has lifted the city’s 35-year moratorium on new streetlights, returned IMPD to a community-based policing model and created Indianapolis’ first comprehensive youth summer employment plan — all while cutting overall city spending and building a bipartisan coalition, dedicated to moving Indianapolis forward.

Mayor Hogsett received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University before earning graduate degrees from Indiana University, Butler University, Christian Theological Seminary and a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.
